HAYLEY:

MacGuffin Magazine

https://www.macguffinmagazine.com/

A magazine dedicated to the 'life of ordinary things'. Each issue is focused on one thing- I've been flicking through the 'The Sink' issue. Past issues have included 'The Cabinet', 'The Rope', The Ball' etc. It's pretty riveting stuff despite this issue not being about rivets.

WHITNEY:

Wilson.fm

Wilson.fm does themed curated podcasts playlists for people like find new podcasts to listen to. If the playlist "Cults are just like Facebook Groups" doesn't intrigue you, I don't know what will. (P.S. The "Sound of Music" playlist is .)

Talking to Women

"Talking to Women" by Nell Dunn.  Transcripts of Nell talking to her cool friends over a glass of wine about what it means to be a woman in the world. Women, wine, sex, smashing the patriarchy, and zero censorship - but in the 60s.

JOE:

Two very different TV shows from me:

Curtain Call

Only just discovered this when working on Facebook. Ron Arad - the artist/designer/architect - installed 5600 silicon rods in the Roundhouse in 2013 creating a 360º curtain/canvas for art to be projected on.

STEVEN:

Anatomy Of A Killing

Anatomy of a killing: The BBC reveal the steps their journalists took to identify the killers of a mother and her child in Cameroon. Pretty heartbreaking but amazing journalism.

Streatham Rovers

Streatham Rovers: Man creates Twitter account for fake football club. Man creates fake Universe for fake football club, including a disgruntled, unpaid video editor who gets his own back by replacing the goals of the month video with... well, just watch.

BEN:

Kubrick book:

My example of creative ferocity is a book by Frederic Raphael that documents his experience of writing the screenplay for 'Eyes wide shut'. It's a series of anecdotes of how the screenplay came about, told through the medium of a screenplay and the odd diary entry. Its a wonderful account of the process of two amazing creative brains bringing to life one of the most pretentious films every made and all the battles that go with it. If you're into that sort of thing, give it a read. Available on Amazon now.

MICHAEL:
